Been on a Wendell Berry kick lately, mostly his essays and poetry. His collection
"Sex, Economy, Freedom, and Community" has had a quiet but solid effect on me.

Bit of a best seller but Sapiens has been a good read/ nice reminder of our short time here.

No Martin, too lazy/knackered for that sort of malarkey, although l was once asked to co-author one.
Haven't been doing much that would be of any interest here and not really worn any denim the last 6 weeks or so as it's been too warm here. So hence the brief absence 🔥 |

“The Rise of the Ultra Runners” by Adharanand Finn, great book about, you guessed it, ultra-running, through the author’s own personal experience. I really enjoy his factual, yet fast-moving and humorous style.
Also, while on holiday in Greece last week, I finally got around to reading the compelling, absorbing, brilliant and utterly shameful “Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee” by Dee Brown. |
