Interested to come across this site. I've been making jeans collections now for 40+ years. Since the dark ages (no pun intended). England, Scotland, Italy, Japan, and then Morocco and HK - but never China or the others. They were too mass market and no culture of demin.

I have a collection of vintage denim. 40+ Big E's (proper ones) in various states, Sweetorr, Rail Road, Foremost, Old Wrangler, and others. My best stuff got nicked. WW2 Levis, good size, good condition. Blue Bell Wrangler jacket.  Sadly. 

The guy who knows the most about this stuff is a little French guy called Stephane. He's in Japan now but he used to deal in vintage stuff in Paris flea markets in the late 80's and early 90's. Encyclopaedic.  I'm seeing him in Tokyo next week. 

Anyhow, I'll keep an eye out - I can't date anything after about 1970 though.

Good to see that vintage denim hasn't gone off the boil and has been safely passed on to the next generations. Its a fascinating world.
