Very nice but a proper runner would be hurtling up and down there in a vest, short shorts and possibly a bumbag

Brilliant Neal - how are you liking your Eigg in the morning?
I don't swim. I can swim. I just don't have much cause to do so in the normal run of things.

Very much so, Its idyllic

The drive up here was absolutely horrendous tho, torrential rain all the way from Loch Lomond to Fort William, we left Sheff around 12.30am giving us 10hrs to complete a 7.5hr journey and we only just made it to the ferry at Mallaig with 15mins to spare.. good job i took my dads car rather than the old Volvo! i was doing 90's through the Highlands, we left the road at one point under-steering on the surface water, i don't enjoy driving fast even in favourable conditions, i didn't get the chance to appreciate the beautiful scenery Unhappy

Eigg is a wonderful little island (i'll be sorry to leave) foxy's house is in a perfect position, looking out of the front window is like a perfectly framed painting, the islanders are open and friendly, I'm out for a ride or a run in the early morning's, back home to cook breakfast.. only one day have we not swam in the sea or been bodyboarding, surprisingly the sea is a lot warmer than the rivers which run down from the peaks.
We're collecting mussels and winkles (alive, alive, o') at low tide for lunch, Soul-boy cleans the beards.

Catching Pollock for dinner with the incoming tide at 8pm...

I'm almost self sufficient, i just need to build a moonshine still in foxy's shed..

This was Singing Sands last night at 8.30pm

Looks beautiful Neil, worth the Bourne-esque car journey.

This was a few months back but I went to Clanwilliam, South Africa to do some bouldering.

Great scenery, great weather. I beat up my SC Okis while I was there. Enjoy the shots!
