I've seen weirdo folk freak Richard Dawson a load of times over the last 5 years, this song, performed acappela, is always the highpoint. Really intense. |

Blimey killer. I'll bet his gigs can get pretty wild.
His feet must be killing him by the end of that!! |

He seems to be enjoying a certain amount of mainstream success atm, on radio 6 all the time and an album out on Domino (you should check it out, it's wonderful). On a UK tour with a band over the next month too I think...

You're right about him getting airtime on Radio 6 killer. Funnily enough, whenever I hear his name mentioned I always confuse him with Richard Hawley, who also seems to be getting his 15 minutes of fame right now, although I know absolutely nothing about either of them and wouldn't know the difference if they were both standing (or even performing) in front of me!

Richard Hawley is more of an indie-rock guy, used to be in pulp in the 80s. All my friends like him but he leaves me cold.
