Definitely going to check that out Double O. I think this guy has gone viral with some of his exploits.

Just Bing watched

Godless (Superb Western starring Jeff Bridges)
She’s Gotta Have It (Netflix series By Spike Lee)
SMILF (on Showtime)
Manhunter (Origin story of the FBI’s serial killer profiling unit)

So much good TV on demand these days.

I thought Mindhunter was excellent.
Godless is next on the agenda.

I expect Godless will most likely make every ones year end best of 2017. Highly recommended. Some great clothing (Although show predates Denim (just I think).

Thanks for the heads uip on this one John. You sure Jeff Bridges in this?

There's also a good modern westernish movie with Jeff Bridges last year called Hell or High Water. It's on one of the streaming services now. I think maybe Amazon.

I also thought for a second MS's second rate search engine Bing was streaming too. Then i assumed you meant binge..

The Grant Morrison graphic novels were great.

I watched Don Letts 'Story of Skinhead' on BBC4 last night, its nothing we don't know or haven't seen before but still, some interesting characters.

The quality is a bit shit here^ UK-bro's can get it in glorious technicolour via the iplayer.

Altered Carbon on Netflix is a decent bit of sci-fi with surprisingly high production values & a good cast of characters. Definitely worth a punt.

Edit Godless stars Jeff Daniels NOT Jeff Bridges in perhaps his finest role outside of Dumb & Dumber.

Thanks for the heads up 00, just finished watching it on iPlayer. Lots of nice denim especially the first incarnation (late sixties).

I had a black Harrington jacket circa 1982, think l got my mum to sew on all these Two-tone patches on it.
Also had a donkey jacket from Field and stream, in Reading, about the same time.

Re- the racist side to skinheads: The only thing l remember is when l went to purchase my first MA-1, about a year later. The shop in the indoor market had several colours, but there were two types. Red lining models and oranges lined. My friends had informed me that the one with the red lining are for national front supporters/sympathisers so l opted for the orange lined model.

Obviously they weren't real ma-1's, just the usual cheap market knock off.
My first real military Ma-1 l bought from the Kenny market in 1987, after seeing Erasure wearing them on TotP , which by that time the skinhead, much like punks, were a dwindling minority.
