Not sure if there's already a topic for this. Please feel free to delete if so.

I'm looking for a short brimmed hbt machinist style cap, in a small size. Like the rising sun caps, but in a khaki/OD hbt. I think Freewheelers did one, but they seem to be sold out.

Can anyone suggest other brands who may do something like this at a not too outrageous price.

Circle A Brand has quite a few different caps. Also maybe Papa Nui

For an even shorter brim, check out the cozy caps from Superior Labor

Runabout Goods has one but the brim may be longer than you want.

Russell at Circle-A may be amenable to a custom cap, I suspect he has some HBT fabric around.

I also really dig the work of Adequate, he does small batches in various fabrics with various bill lengths (no HBT on his site now though).

I make things out of leather.

Adequates caps look nice. I've been meaning to pick something from him for awhile.

Freewheelers Guthrie model are the ones with the shorter bill. I did a bit of poking around and could'nt find any of those in a HBT in stock at the moment.

Hi Martin
You can't go wrong with a cap from Russell, I have a green field cap made from the shelter fabric and It's my go to summer cap.
When we met up with smoothsailor last year I was wearing it.
As hallows mentioned, Russell sometimes has remnants of leftover fabric. Get in touch, I'm sure he'll be able to sort you out...

I have a cap and a jacket from Russell at Circle A, and am very pleased with the construction.
