Initially I wanted to put these pics in the Jacket Bitch Thread, but I believe USN or USN inspired jackets deserve their own thread.

Got bitten late by the USN bug, but when it finally did, I got bit good...

Post your USN or USN inspired jackets, here are mine:

Vintage 40s N-1:

Real McCoy's  N-1 (suffered a supposedly common (with older RMC versions) aubergine discoloration so I 'hand' dyed it back to navy)

Real McCoy's Blue Cold Weather Jacket (M-43 deck hook jacket)

Vintage N-4 USN deck jacket, USS Tidewater, Talon zipper, 40s?

Vintage N-4 USN Utility Jacket, Mason & Hughes

Toys McCoy zip deck jacket, alpaca lined

Real McCoy's Zip Deck Jacket, alpaca lined

Bunkerstud biker deck jacket

the Real McCoys 37j1B

Bankrobber AN-J-2 (Jungle Cloth, collar modified)

The Marka N-1 is also really well made! Nice thick and rugged jungle cloth.

These pics don't do the FWs and the RMC justice, I'll try to make better pics soon and replace these...

Ishmael,

I did some research a while back and I believe they are from 2010. (but I am forgetful lately, I do not know for sure, maybe tJ is right)

I bought the navy version on sale and the khaki used.
The jungle cloth on these are amazing. Looks very much like the new FW civilian deck jackets..

Oh and unlike most of these kind of deck jackets (BR, RMC, Mash etc.) there is no USN stencil on the back. But on the other hand, FW also makes these navy ones with a BIG ass USN on the front, and a khaki in a hideous check cab driver version. They even make you pay extra for these..

Thanks Ongaku. 2008 or 2010 sound about right. i was just thinking that they hadn't done them in the last couple seasons. The new deck jackets are duck. No ribs on the bottom, and the ribbing on the sleeves is not visible. Thus closer to an N-1. Lining is wool pile. How about on yours? Alpaca or pile?

Ishmael,

What I meant to say was that these FW deck jackets have the exact same paraffin coated jungle cloth as the FW Great Lakes Engineers Military Style Coat, see the close ups here:
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/americaya/1331034-nv/

They also seem to have the exact same melton pile lining.
