Sounds like you scored the coveted “Route 66’s!”

check the selvedge stitching. If it’s single stitch on both sides it’s big E. Cool

Thanks for your information! Is the selvedge stitching what you would see if you pull up either side of the selvedge? Because I just checked that, and actually only one side is single stitched—not sure what that means!

Hey yall! 

Picked these jeans up at a local thrift shop. Was wondering if yall had any info. All i can garnish is that they are from about 1980. This pendant is confusing. Have not found it anywhere along with manufacture number on back of button. 

Any help would be awesome!

5 is May
80 is 1980
And as you already know 29 button number
There cool, never seen a pair like that out thrifting.

I tried searching 29 for the manufacturing plant...but I cant even find that.
