lol
yes; a decision to keep old patch and get a new patch when there was the copyright bonfire: an attempt to keep continuity ending with a 30s lee invasion into a 20s levis model...
only I was foolish enough to take this path...
(with them both completely fried it is all academic now...)

Measurements I've seen online seem to be all over the place, so I was hoping for some sizing advice. I'll probably order from Denimio because of the return policy.

Depending on where my jeans sit, the waist usually falls between 34" and 35". I am also looking for a thigh measurement around 12.5". I'm thinking the size 34 would work best. Does that seem right to you guys? I'm looking for a fit on the slim side, but not skinny.

My other concern is the inseam. My inseam is usually around 34". The denimio chart shows 33.5", the TCB site page for the 60's shows 93cm (36.6"), and the TCB site page for the 50's has a picture of a chart for both the 50's and 60's that shows an inseam of 84cm (33"). All of these measurements are supposedly the washed versions. Denimio also has a product page for an old version with a longer length, but don't have a size 34 on stock. Has anybody ordered these recently that can confirm the actual inseam length? 33.5" may be doable if I don't cuff, but I'd be hesitant to order anything shorter than that.

I'm going to email denimio for measurements of an actual pair in raw and washed, but if anybody here could share the measurements of a size 34, that would be helpful.

Thanks.

sorry I haven't seen this post. I love tcb 60s, in fact I have three pairs. 34 is the size for you.
My waist fluctuates between 36 and 37 and I wear 36.
Fit is not for everybody because of the short-ish front rise and short back rise, although they work great for me and perhaps they're my favourite fitting jeans. It does seem unlikely that you're going to loose 4 inches on inseam length. I don't remember how much they shrank length wise but it wasn't so noticeable for sure.  If you order direct from Inoue he will make sure to hem your jeans so that they will shrink to desired inseam length, plus TCB makes some of the best roping you can possibly find and see.
You will loose the policy return provided by Denimio, though. Choices....

Do the 60s still come with the cat ear arcs? I had ordered from Denimio, but asked for actual measurements before they shipped so I can make sure I have a long enough inseam. They have a couple of pairs in my size in stock, but neither have the arcs or the TCB buttons, both of which I am quite fond of. They said they contacted TCB to see if they had a pair with the arcs and a long enough inseam, but they didn't have any.

I was curious if they changed back to no arcs or if denimio just has older pairs in stock. Maybe I just need to cancel my order and go to TCB direct. Do you guys just recommend email for that?

Thanks.

I misread the email from denimio and they do have the TCB buttons at least. I'm thinking about just going with one of these two pairs that they have in stock. My waist is usually between 34" and 35", but probably closer to 35", and I'm looking for an inseam of 34.5". Denimio says pair #1 will be close to 34.5". What do you guys recommend? Will the 35" waist of pair #1 shrink and stretch back out where I need it? Will the 35.75" inseam only shrink to 34.5"? I was thinking pair #2, but also don't want the waist stretching out too much and being sloppy. Any sizing advice would be appreciated.

Pair #1
waist flat: 35"
front rise: 11.75"
upper thigh width: 13.5"
inseam: 35.75"
hem: 8.75"

Pair #2
waist flat: 36"
front rise: 11.75"
upper thigh width: 13.75"
inseam: 36.25"
hem: 8.75"

Been a while since I dropped in here. Here's a little update on my TCB 20's for the Sufu contest. Pre- and post wash.
