TCB jacket below:

for commercial, big volume releases cost cutting through efficient material use is essential.

companies like LVC or TCB can afford both - authentic replicas or increased material usage...

regarding the Lee jacket - the main/lower back part consist of 3 smaller panels which should allow for more efficient material usage in most sizes so that the yokes (front and/or back) can be cut on the grain line as well without wasting too much material.

Has anyone experienced any issues ordering from TCB?

I placed an order for a pair of their new Lee Cowboy repros on their website. I received the automatic order confirmation, but it's been a few weeks and I haven't received a shipping confirmation. It occurred to me that maybe what I ordered was a pre-order, and I lost that in translation, but I'm not sure how they're actually going about it.

In any case, I e-mailed them to check in several days ago (using Google translate), but have yet to hear back. By all accounts I've seen they seem to have a great reputation, so I'm not too concerned, but the lack of communication and language barrier has me wondering if there's some confusion and need for clarification.

Can anyone provide some clarity into the ordering process and how it's gone with TCB in the past?

Hi there!
The tcb50s online shop works mostly in Japanese, to the best of my knowledge it doesn't calculate international shipping, I always order by David rect contact with Inoue. You can reach him at this email tcbinoue@gmail.com to check out what happened to your order. I guess he's waitingn to get the difference between local and international shipping.

Ah yes, that makes a lot of sense!

Thank you, Volvo - I really appreciate that.

I'll contact Inoue directly.

I'm interested in getting a pair of TCB. Since I don't have much of an ass and lower rises usually work better for me, I'm thinking of getting the 60's. Measurements I've seen online seem to be all over the place, so I was hoping for some sizing advice. I'll probably order from Denimio because of the return policy.

Depending on where my jeans sit, the waist usually falls between 34" and 35". I am also looking for a thigh measurement around 12.5". I'm thinking the size 34 would work best. Does that seem right to you guys? I'm looking for a fit on the slim side, but not skinny.

My other concern is the inseam. My inseam is usually around 34". The denimio chart shows 33.5", the TCB site page for the 60's shows 93cm (36.6"), and the TCB site page for the 50's has a picture of a chart for both the 50's and 60's that shows an inseam of 84cm (33"). All of these measurements are supposedly the washed versions. Denimio also has a product page for an old version with a longer length, but don't have a size 34 on stock. Has anybody ordered these recently that can confirm the actual inseam length? 33.5" may be doable if I don't cuff, but I'd be hesitant to order anything shorter than that.

I'm going to email denimio for measurements of an actual pair in raw and washed, but if anybody here could share the measurements of a size 34, that would be helpful.

Thanks.

I chatted with denimio. They pulled measurements from recent orders. The one wash inseam was 33" and the raw inseam was 37.5". I was planning on ordering the one wash, but now I'm thinking I'll order the raw and do a warm or hot bathtub soak instead of the washing machine at first. If I think I can afford to lose a little more length, maybe then I'll throw them in the machine.

What kind of inseam shrinkage have you guys experienced? Are you really seeing 4"?

I ordered the TCB60s in "husky" size (40w)
Stop sniggering at the back.

The rise is very low, but I've been used to wearing the 20s and other older styles.
The leg width is wider than the 20s (oddly, imho)
They're far removed from the 60s LVC in almost every way. The leg shape is more akin to the rising sun blacksmith.

I haven't soaked or washed them yet. The ordering process is always better contacting the boss direct, and even then it's a little shakey.
