Hmmm. Interesting.
Post a pic at some point if you wouldn't mind, Shredwin.
I'd love to see that tattoo.

Really beautiful work, shred & cobblers!

Cobblers- my back piece is coherent, but my arms are an amalgamation. I'll take pics over the weekend.

PS shred & cobblers what are the stories/meanings behind your various tattoos?

PPS shredwin- I think that yours is the first instance of deep cleaveage on Denimbro, unless prouxlsie posted something that I missed. I hearby recognize your efforts on this front.

Mr. Black- refurbishment varies in time depending on the mindset of your tattooist and you, and their speed.

If you want everything redone- line work, shading and color, it will take the same amount of time as the original minus a bit of layout, unless your tattooist has gotten faster or slower.

However, faded tatto work can be very pleasing, so if your tattosit chooses to highlight some things and let some of the aged work show through, that could cut the time down.

Long story short- dunno.

Helpful, yes?

Im in the same boat mr b, having recently quit my saturday job at fashion retailer ASOS im beginning to regret the tattoo across my knuckles, would it be difficult to have the letters altered to ACAB, which i have been reliably informed stands for "All Cats Are Brilliant" and should pose less of a problem in the jobs market?

I'm thinking of having the large spider web on my neck redone properly. A 'mate' did it in the late 1970s with a compass and a bottle of Quink. For the last 30-odd years I managed to cover it with a luxuriant mullet but since I started to resemble Max Wall sans leggings, I had to go for the Tele Savalas look, thus exposing the inky arachnid creation.

At a recent family event, an elderly uncle noticed it and offered to give me a 'touching up' but I declined his offer and will have the job done properly I think.
