Imo the coin pocket doesn’t look right for a ww2 era pair , most of the ww2 lee’s I’ve seen have The coin pocket in more of a central position ( like Levi’s ) and didn’t have rivets

Here is a vintage example

There a really nice pair of jeans and the fit is perfect for you

Thanks, Flash.

Those jeans in your link seem funny for a Wartime pair—the arcs make sense, but I didn't expect to see suspender buttons or a crotch rivet…and they're made from a right-handed denim! Lee was all over the place. I've got a lot to learn.

I was thinking the same today when i was looking at repro's, then i spotted this pair, granted no rivet but the coin pocket is the same shape as the SC, or it would be if the material was folded back over.

I'll endorse anything for cash

Here is another pair , this time with a hair on hide patch

If I had to guess is say these were made when restrictions were first introduced

Julian’s look like the M41027 as seen here on Yahoo auctions, however, this pair seem to have blue selvedge.

The back pocket placement doesn’t seem vintage enough for a true reproduction, they look too closely set.

Haven't we already ruled these^ out?

These MP-619 below ring more true, same button assembly, same pink selvedge, same cut, the M41027 look mad loose in comparrison.

Good eye on the hip pocket placement. These do seem much less spread out than what I'm used to seeing on old Lee jeans, which—reproduction aside—I see as a big plus. Maybe I'm not spending enough time on horseback?
