The PF Flyers Bob Cousy models have a very wide, round toe and wide forefoot. The other models not as much. They're also IMO more comfortable than Converse.

I had a friend who didn't get his shoes back from them for over 4 months -- they do a lot of work, their turn-around rate is slow. Unless they quoted you a turn-around time, I'd give it some time before I got too upset. They do good work. |

setterman-- if you can find them Pro-keds did a reissue a few years back that I really liked a bit.
I tried on adidas' Nizza-Hi at the mall a few years back too. I have heard good things about Converse One-star -- can't remember who was telling me about it maybe Farhad? |

Long time reader, first time poster.
Does anybody know who exactly manufactures LVC denim jackets and pants that are Made in the USA? Does Levi's still have any manufacturing facilities in the U.S., or is the production outsourced?
Thanks |

All raw models with the exception of the '67 505 are made in USA. Washed models and the rough rinse are foreign made -- usually Turkey.

Thanks for the reply! But my question was more about who manufacturers the US denims for Levi's or if Levi's manufactures them themselves?

All LVC made in the USA is outsourced. It has been this way ever since Valencia Street closed. Taylor Toggs did most of the sewing up until three years ago. Last bit of credible info on this says that LVC is now sewn in LA by a factory that previously did all the RRL stuff.
