Probably not much hope of lightening the color, some of the conditioner might come out with wear and use, I'd just lay off the conditioner for a few years and brush them regularly.
I make things out of leather.

I do the same and for heavy mud the vacuum cleaner brush attatchment works a charm allowing you to brush off the dried mud while sucking it out of the denim fibers at the same time.

Euro-Bro's- Can anybody remember what those chocolates were called?
They are either Swedish or Swiss, disc shaped with a dimple in the top and came wrapped in a gold paper tube (it might have had some red branding on there or i could have made that bit up)
I used to buy them in Brighton but haven't seen them up North for 30odd years.
If i can figure out what they are called i will order some.
Come in Panhead?

I remember those well but damned if I can remember what they're called. Been too many years.
