I did a search on sandals but didn’t turn up too much.

Are there any sandal wearers here? If so, what do you wear / recommend? And please post pics.

I killed a pair of Chamula / Meg Co Huaraches last summer and am looking to upgrade. The Japanese makers look very nice but not unexpectedly are very (very) expensive.

Heading towards the same direction there are Yuketen options:

Or this, a more robust Huarache:

I don’t mind some of the Paraboot options:

Or even these, from Cheaney (Yuketen also does a version):

Not for me im afraid, sandals wouldn't suit my lifestyle or environment.

From a style perspective the Clinch look head and shoulders above the rest..

Now, to socks or not to socks.. that is the question?

Yeah I knew this thread would be polarising! I currently live in Zurich and spend a lot of time at the lake in summer and I’m originally from Brisbane, Australia which is subtropical and everyone is in “pluggers” (rubber thongs).

I also like the Clinch the most.

You mean these? Yep, they seem quite popular and there’s a few Japanese “elevated” versions floating around as well but I’d want open toes for summer

I live in Birks in the summer, love ‘em. 🐊

The Arizona sandals that is, not the clogs.
