Oh, I should have said- 2" down is a good general rule for RRL pants, but it varies from model to model and within models with different fabrics. I usually take a 31 but also have some 32s and a 33.

Turns out the waist fit perfect but theres not enough room in the top block to be comfortable. I guess a 31 would be great. Loved the cut though. Anyway gonna throw them up on the bay but it was worth trying. Anyone looking for a pair in 30, hit me up.

^Was it the thighs that screwed the fit? That's where RRL pants most often go awry.

Hi everyone! First post here...

I just wanted to share one of my first experiences with raw denim. I bought these pants some years ago in an designer outlet for a pretty good price.
Wore them often, washed them often and had to repair them often. Sometimes by myself, sometime by a tailor. I really don't know the age and amount of washes they got. Anyway just an little update for this thread as well...

Here is an example of a repair I did by myself. Got some fabric left and decided to try fix the hole on my own. Pretty cheap work but it holds on until now Big smile

Second repair by myself. I would say the colour of the denim in this picture comes as close as possible to how they would look if you would see them in person.

Some repairs from my tailor. Who did a really good job. He also did a huge amount of crotch repairs not visible in this post.

To be honest I did tapered them so that I could wear them with brogues, oxfords and other no-boot shoes. Wanted to have more of a 60s cut. Normally they are the standard regular fit.

All in all I really enjoy wearing them. Even if this is not often nowadays. Also reminds me to the time when I was new to this whole thing going on...

Anyway maybe someone else enjoys seeing the pictures as I do Wink

Great job with those Seb! I thought that leg looked slimmer than the "Straight Leg" model normally has. I have rigid pair in the closet that I am planning to get into rotation - maybe soon!
Too much Denim - too little time...

I bought this RRL Type II denim Jacket last summer in the Crazy Horse Wash. I'm wondering if the distressing is overdone that the jacket is a damaged item.

For the raws; I'd say, if you have slimmer legs, size down two. To be safe, size down one, waist might be too big, though, then.
