Not as far as i know. They do use fabric from places like the UK and Japan but then it's all assembled in China. This puts me off every time I think of buying something. IMHO, it's pretty fucked up as RL of all kinds trades so hard off the image of being 'All American'.

For illumin8em

Not much has happened with them. The leather is quite thick. And still used my old camera. Haven't had time to play with the borrowed one.

A workshirt I got in the current sale.

I really like the fabric of the end on end weave. And some nice details like the cat eye metal buttons, some white reinforcement cloth behind the front buttons and the button holes on the sleeves (There must be a special term for this), two different sized chest pockets and there's a kind of union made logo tag on the bottom front.

I went to the "local" Ralph Lauren store today and checked out the RRL Sale rack.  They had the 1930's US Army dungarees.  They were not raw, they were very washed down and distressed/ patched up.  They were beautiful though.  They were 60% cotton and 40% linen, which I thought was interesting.  I tried them on but a 31 was huge!  I am usually a 32, so these are at least 2 sizes oversized.  They were surprisingly MADE IN USA.  I really liked them, but did not purchase.

They also had an amazing US Air Force Flight Jacket that was MADE IN JAPAN and even had Crown zippers!  It was beautiful but too big.  This was originally sold for $900.

Sell me your Mister Freedom stuff. :)

I got a chance to see the RRL shirt at Unionmade/Barneys over the weekend and I own the Lofgren.

The RRL shirt has a washed/soft/broken in feel to it and has a brown tone to it.  The RRL shirt has a tuck pleat in the back.

the dots/stitching on the lofgren are bright white and the material is unwashed.  it has a scalloped back and triple stitching detail

This has been my biggest gripe with ALL of RL's buttoned shirts.  They need to do something to keep the button-holes from folding over on the front of the shirt.  But it doesn't keep me from buying more..  (c;
