Nice, I have an unworn pair of those stashed away.
I’ve been enjoying the XX20 and XVUS variants lately. The R01 cut is ideal for me.

I was lucky enough to score a pair of the new Roys just offered up from SE, arrived today, gave them a hot soak for the full shrink, hung dry, and they feel great.  This is a tapered fit that works brilliantly for me: a 33 waist, about a 32in inseam.  I usually prefer a very straight cut---having largely given up on skinnier jeans on an old guy like me.  These fit a lot like my PBJ XX-011 and the denim feels typically Cone Mills---so not much slub---and thus not much like the PBJ fabric.  In short, they feel are a lot like new Levis that I wore in 1972 except the quality of the construction is incomparably better.  If the devil is in the details then sign me up, Lucifer.

Fit pic would be nice. Couldn't find one from SE site.

When the company who bought the machines, gets set up, it will be announced- I just wish a company who bought all the machines, would use Roy...not just as a consultant, I wish they would hire him once or twice a year- to make his jeans, but
This of coarse would have some complications
So it’s just a thought.
