Roy has a pair of Nihon Menpu fabric Memorial jeans for sale atm on ebay. I guess this time you'll have to pay for them...

My thoughts exactly. The denim ID looks to be identical to the original denim?

Pretty sure Roy's advice is similar to the Mister Freedom site; wash when needed.

Recommended care is to soak jeans like this (click) for about 15 minutes, and hang to dry for first wear, then wear and break in well before machine wash. Once broken-in, Machine wash gentle with jeans turned inside-out and hang to dry (although, I hand wash only, and very infrequently, and secretly wish you would too.)

That could well be, since he has "misspelled" Nihon Menpu in three different ways on his item description.Wink

After 3 days so far working construction in my ROY Memorial Jeans.
I am a size 34 but decided to size up to a 36 to have a roomier loose fit for working manual labor.
I also prefer to wear mine on my waist. Not up high at the belly like most.
15 minute warm soak and worn damp

Pre- Soak
Waist 17.5
Thigh 13.5
Knee 10
Leg opening 9
Inseam 35

Post soak
Waist 17
Thigh 13.25
Knee 9.5
Leg opening 8.75
Inseam 35
