If she had a joint in one hand and half a 6-pack of coors in the other I might be accepting this look:

Thank you Bob Dale, for originally scarring my retinas with this.

Yes, she is a major douchette....she has been listing a brown gab jacket for over two years now at a price for which it will never sell. I also saw her in some sort of see through thingy where she was wearing a thong underneath...WTF???!!! Dead

Has anyone kept up with Indigo_Phoenix? I'm sure she's had at least two ebay name changes since last I noticed her. Is she still labeling anything Levi's as LVC?

One of my least favorite Ebayers has mercifully been shut down, or given up on his delusions.

Redlight-rags.
He seemed to decide that certain items were cool, then would buy up every one on ebay and list it on his own ebay store for 5-10x market value, where they would sit forever.
Often he would just use his avatar for the lead picture, as if that was all you really needed to know.
Maybe the family cut his funds off before he frittered away their inheritance?

Birthofcool: I believe Mr. Randal has discussed this seller before, but they may have been in the other forum. He has a number of LVC items, but good luck finding out the size, condition, or actually buying them.

Cons: lazy, lists an "or best offer" option on items when what he means is "will consider an offer of 99.9% of asking price or better," little to no attempt to take decent pictures, and worst of all, actually has nice LVC items that are listed at insane prices.

Case in point: 1883 Nevada model listed at $2,000, plus a bunch of random garbage in the auction about how he has so many other pairs but hasn't listed any of them, so ask if you want them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEVI-LVC-VINTAGE-BIG-E-REDLINE-SELVEDGE-JEANS-VARIETY-1883-NEVADA-/181145988610?pt=US_CSA_MC_Jeans&hash=item2a2d246e02#ht_2045wt_934" rel="nofollow - http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEVI-LVC-VINTAGE-BIG-E-REDLINE-SELVEDGE-JEANS-VARIETY-1883-NEVADA-/181145988610?pt=US_CSA_MC_Jeans&hash=item2a2d246e02#ht_2045wt_934

Uhhh… I think someone (shopthevintageloft):

Is trying to edge into someone else's (violetville) territory:

Who will win in the grudge match?
STVL looks like a hair-puller, and she seems to be limber, but I suspect VV has a pointed-handle rat comb and possibly some hair-spray in her M1942 jacket that she could put to good use.

Posted By: Sardine
Date Posted: 01 Jun 2013 at 10:46am
VV may have a rat tail comb, and she may have even heated it with a lighter and then fashioned it into a "shiv" while serving time in fashion prison, but she also has that underfed, bruises easily look. I think the win would go to STVL.

No disrespect intended but, as much as I do not care for the leather jacket, I would take it over anything else that might be offered in that listing.

i can't find fault with that line of thinking

Posted By: rayw44

Not directed at one particular person, but generally anyone who asks that you fraudulently alter the info on a package before sending it. For instance, "Hi, I know the item I just bought was purchased for a few hundred dollars, but could you mark it as a gift and put the value under $10?"

It's not as annoying if someone asks ahead of time, because then you can have a dialogue about it and explain why you don't want to do so (my number one reason is that mail fraud has huge fines attached to it, which I alone would have to bear even though it's very unlikely to be fined for it). The worst is when a buyer just slips it in as a note and then threatens to leave negative feedback if you don't.

That's garbage, and there is nothing ebay will do to help sellers with this.

I was shocked to discover recently, when I actually read my sellers statement, that eBay selling fees have crept up to 10%. Pretty hefty fee for hosting a few pics and making your listing available in their internal search. Probably costs them all of a nickel.

Posted By: 58panheadfan
Date Posted: 28 Oct 2013 at 10:47am
... & don't forget the PayPal Fee about 4% and a bad exchange rate too (PayPal is owned by Ebay).

Posted By: mr randal
Date Posted: 28 Oct 2013 at 10:50am
Oh right, so 14% cost to sellers, and the only eBay services I can see provided aside from search function and minimal picture hosting are buyer protections.

A few years ago i was selling a power amp, 99p start for 10 days. It was a rare beast with a niche market so i offered up some key words at the end of the title, i know its not the thing to do but it was obviously what it was described to be.

This is what followed... Ebay withdrew it from sale when it was up to £440 with less than 2hours left to run. I took exception to this tactic and told them so.

They said i was trying to advertise it as something that it wasn't, Fair enough but at this time ebay was awash with fakes so i spent the day collecting ebay links to obviously fake goods, Dunks, Levis, ect. then sent them an email with 100 links to fake items asking them why they are willing to remove my listing for fear that someone will not receive exactly what they was buying but hypocritically happy to profit from the sale of blatantly counterfeit goods?

Posted By: 58panheadfan
Date Posted: 28 Oct 2013 at 11:21am
The same on me... but it's time-wasting, because ebay plays self-appointed judge!

Posted By: Double 0 Soul
Date Posted: 28 Oct 2013 at 11:51am
I find that when you are partaking in correspondence with ebay staff its quite pleasant and lighthearted and they respond quickly and informally but during the conversation if you ask a more provocative question they take an age to respond and although from the "same" staff member (in my case Michelle) the use of language alters drastically its obviously proofread by the legal department.

Posted By: mr randal
Date Posted: 28 Oct 2013 at 11:52am
Double0- the same has happened to me. I've had a listing for some sort of LVC thing removed for having sugar cane in the title. But have they listened to any of my complaints about that PRPS seller who floods eBay with hundreds of PRPS items with LVC in the title? Just a form letter politely asking me not to bother them further and assuring me they are on top of things.
I suspect if a power seller of some sort complains, or someone who knows someone in their management team it might get listened to and acted on arbitrarily, but if you arent connected, they really couldnt care less, and seem to take pleasure in suggesting you take your business elsewhere.

They seem to be the only seller that has those new LVC star suspenders/braces but what a price to pay. I'll be waiting for them to go 'on sale'..

Seriously, if you're trying to sell a pair of (questionable) jeans for almost $400, surely you'd present them a bit better?

Its a grim day when our most recognisable companies are profiting from the sale of goods branded by a paedophile and necrophiliac.

Don't use key word search results though that would be unethical!

I wonder how much that would have gone for before the revelations?

This had been raised before, it may be valid for some of the smaller items. The same is true of SDA.

Didn't even click on the link earlier    The Chinese ones do look a little different don't they?

Seriously, yes they're fakes and I was getting this confused with another conversation. Must look before I comment... or click 'Buy' - they'll look better on than in the picture I hope!

Sadly, they're real. Post Bart Sights washing.

Superdeal65 IS delusional though, thinking he'll get anything like that price, so that definitely belongs in this thread.

Birthofcool is at it again. He lists this Levis Made and Crafted Type II, in Cone's indigo x indigo duck no less which is maybe five years old max, as having been produced at the Valencia St. factory and produced in 1996.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-LEVI-MADE-CRAFTED-TYPE-2-DENIM-JACKET-M-507-XX-VTG-LVC-/181468478266?pt=US_CSA_MC_Outerwear&hash=item2a405d3b3a#viTabs_0

Either this is him being super lazy and recycling an older listing, or he thinks people are that gullible. The tag says Made in Turkey! The nearly $500 price tag is insane as well.

Money laundering? Or maybe it was an auction for 1,000 pair?

I wonder if it was a case of two people BOTH thinking "I'll just bit an absurd amount so there's no back and forth at the end", simultaneous actions produce unexpected results.

Not a specific ebayer, but a recent trend:
Buyers who can't wait even twelve hours before messaging you to ask if you have shipped yet and what is the tracking number.
I understand being excited about recent purchases, but that's just obnoxious.
