Hi,

I want to know their production date. I don’t see this label on other LVC 501s:

https://imgbox.com/ILeQeAJf" rel="nofollow - https://imgbox.com/ILeQeAJf

And the last label is now completely different:

How much will this pair of LVC 1947 “Shrink To Fit" size 32/34 shrink in the leg and waist? truly 2 inches? As I understand, LVC from 2009 were made true to size, rather than one inch under.

The first one that has the sticker, says 1996 down at the bottom of the label ( maybe Valencia street factory?)

The second lists Brussels as the headquarters, so I believe that’s before 2010?

The third is when LVC was at the Olympic stadium in Amsterdam, they were there sometime in 2010 to 2013/14
After that- LVC was brought back to the hive in SF

As for shrinkage- no idea, other folks here will know

32x34 is my size, and I have or owned a dozen plus pairs of 47s in 32x34, they ROUGHLY shrink down to a 30x30 if you use heat to wash or dry them and 31x31 if you cold wash and line dry. These are for made in America cone denim versions. I can’t speak to the new Japanese denim.
Prior to 2008 they seems to shrink more than say 2012 onward.
The second image looks to be season 1 of 2007.

I found these pictures you posted of your pair of 47's from 2007:

There is no Belgium or Amsterdam in your photos. Why the label is so different? Your pair are the last truly Made in USA?

Even though LVC had many headquarters in Europe, I believe they still made the jeans in the US, it wasn’t until the last 2/3 years- they are no longer made in the US.

It' a pity. I wish they will make them again in the USA in the future but it seems difficult.

Once a company goes public, Like Levi Strauss did, it’s all about making as much $$ and cutting corners whenever you can, got to appease your stockholders at all cost- gone are the days of a private company throwing a bunch of dough at something cool….Those days are gone, but good for the folks that still have stock of the cool stuff.
