Need help ID'ing overalls

Need some help identifying some overalls.
I found overalls this weekend tucked away in an old garage in upstate New York.

I couldn't find a manufacturer tag. The overall buckle is made by Parva.
The donut buttons are decorated with three stars and a laurel.
The fly is button, with three plain donut buttons.

Any guesses on the maker? or era? (I was thinking 1940s-1950s?)

Likely wartime department store economy line with USN Star & Wreath Buttons. However, could be post-war economy line product using up all remaining GI materials. However, important to note all of this overall is about as generic as possible, so the only real help is the Parva slide button loop fastener, which was also used by Montgomery Ward, Belk, J.C. Penney, etc. Department stores all had many sub-lines of products under different categories and names in ecconomy level pricing that had paper sew-on labels, and thus, if not retaining the paper label, are brandless. Higher end product usually received a woven patch, signature stitch, pattern, or branded button.
