Do denim cutoffs that come down to the knees considered jorts?

I always thought jorts were hemmed and stone washed.
I usually cut off just above the knee blow outs. I still wear the 2 stripe socks too.

Very revealing, Bandit.

It takes me back to high school. I guess everything else from that time (and after even) has become vintage and had a comeback- i guess jorts should get their due.

The best jorts always have the pocket bags hanging out of the bottom.

boxers and jorts is like socks and sandals LOL

If I was to cut my lvc to have the pocket bags show I think I'd have to cut right up to the seam where the legs meet.

When did the term jorts start? I think I first heard it 15 years ago.
before that just "cut offs" for shorts or "daisy dukes" for short shorts.

Joseph Hill!

Someone in costuming at NBC made that choice- those cinch backs might have seen action in a lot of westerns before Pinky was poured into them.
