For the last 30yrs...I have either hummed or whistled this song in whole or part. There's a part of me that would like to time-travel back to when/where Quincy Jones wrote this song and beg him not to do it. Since that's not a possibility.........roll it!

Yeah...there are definitely worse songs to get stuck in your head. Leo Sayer's "You Make Me Feel Like Dancin'" would be one of those. LoL!

and paste as killer b says.

All day long!!!! Good old Skip!

Theres a big debate amongst blues purists about what the 'true' meaning of this song actually is...could crow jane be about a killing woman called crow jane? Jim Crow laws? or even a cleverly coded song about killing the white boss man?

I was (and I suppose in some respects still am) a mildly obsessive weezer fan. anyways, today marks their 20th anniversary of being a band. They should have stopped making music after 'pinkerton', but anyways I'll STFU and just post the song that is stuck in my head

Too bad flavor flav turned into a chump or maybe he always was just a chump for show.  Chuck D is still bad ass, though, and his politics are on point.  Every time I hear fight the power I think of radio raheem with his big ole ghetto blaster and his "D" batteries.

Oh, no that is a real shame, rnr. I guess you didn't read the first post in this thread, because you are only allowed one post per day under penalty of having to take the denimbro duncecap from- why, you!

Guilty as charged.  The one, led to the other.  I thought folks might want a little James Dean.

Is that dunce cap made from denim or duck?  How much shrinkage can rnr expect if hot soaked?

And most importantly.... does it come from Rising Sun?

 Confused

Sadly, going to a friend's funeral today and have had this song playing over in my mind.  One of my favorite tracks from one of the best Welsh bands ever (IMO) before they changed the original line-up.

(p.s. - thanks Mark for helping me out with the C+P)

This is the DB dunce cap:

It is made from non-selvedged stretch denim in China and will stretch to fit any (even rnr-) sized head.

hackney colliery band ripping through 'no diggety' in traditional british brass band style (actually it has more of a second line sound to it... wicked stuff anyway). they also do an awesome version of toto's 'africa, which interested parties could find on youtube, should they wish.
