Denimbro.com is here to provide fans of higher end (vintage, repro, and modern) denim, workwear and related accessories a space to communicate which is as free from hard or soft advertising as is possible.

Denimbro is not here to:
-expose members to commercial ads
-charge fees to forum members, manufacturers or business owners
-provide a platform for manufacturers, retailers, or marketing firms to engage in soft advertising through the use of disingenuous posts, alternate identities, spamming, robo posting, or other unsavory practices.
-provide free bandwidth for those who want to set up sub communities within Denimbro without engaging with the general DB community
-enable ebeef between members of other forums under their known or alternate identities
-provide free alternate Tumblr pages in the form of robo or daily posting of images in dedicated threads.

Denimbro management are:

Bob dale: moderator
Dr_Heech: moderator
Hollows: moderator
mr randal: web administer
Setterman: moderator

When complaints are made or posts flagged via auto functions, moderators are notified. As web administer I do not get those notifications, so should be directly PMd with complaints or queries.

Forum member rules:
1- treat other forum members with respect
2- do not make alternate / multiple DB memberships.
3- we all have our favorite brands, and are enthusiastic about them. Do not, however, express your like of one company by consistently making disparaging remarks about others.
4- post editing and deleting by members is a privelege of participation- those options are available after a member has accrued 50 forum points, which are awarded for posting and when posts are thanked.
5- use the DB marketplace for selling, buying, or swapping. Don't post entire sales offers in brand or shop threads, although a brief mention and a hyperlink to the marketplace sale thread is generally fine in brand threads.

Manufacturer/designer rules:
1- feel free to start a thread about yourself in the "Brands" sub-forum if none exists
2- please confine new product announcements and product sizing/stocking discussion to your brand thread
3- if you are new to the forum or are not receiving feedback from members, do not make multiple posts per day.

Retailer rules:
1- feel free to start a thread about yourself in the "Shops" sub-forum if none exists
2- please confine new product announcements and product sizing/stocking discussion to your shop thread, not spread out over many brand threads
3- if you are new to the forum or are not receiving questions or comments from members, do not make multiple posts per day

Ummm... I don't see anything in the rules about the color of the forum. I just want to make sure none of the newbies get confused.

To paraphrase Henry Ford, you can have any color message board you like, as long as it's black.

The list of member rules had been updated.
I realize this is a tricky one, but I think most of us have noticed how rivalries between fans of competing brands can ignite flames and degrade content.

To paraphrase: We are all fan boys here on denimbro, but as this not an embassy, we don't need any brand ambassadors.

You should ask around in the small questions thread about how to do it before sending a DM to a moderator. Describe the problem you are having and I'm sure someone will know how to help you.
