Just received my new Papa Nui hat which was manufactured by John Lofgren so you already know the quality is spot on.
The cap as expected is beautifully made the fit is great.It looks a lot like old ww2 B-1 summer flying caps
which had a long visor to shut out sun light while flying.This cap is very similar but at the same time easier to wear because it is all cotton.
(The B-1 came with a leather band and a bakelite visor)




Overall I am more than happy with this cap and I am already thinking about buying the other version;)

Not sure how well it would do as beachwear, but the salt and pepper chambray would sure look nice in a lot of other situations. And the OD eyelets are a very nice touch.
