denimdart---Yea i couldn't really believe it when I found it pouring over old newspapers last year....I have a chapter dedicated to it in the book I am working on but its taking me forever to finish so I will start posting some of the stuff on db too....I will work on getting the text more readable right now...
wow its nifty too joseph? so its not to broad of an overall subject then ;)  hehe

Thanks for sharing this great information, Nonriveted.  It is funny how we often idealize the quality of clothes made long ago only to discover there were lots of shoddy clothes made back then too.

Joseph, yep I remember that commercial....oh my that 80's hair is awesome huh

I will try to dig some more up fardin, I will definitely post more if I come across it

Entertainment, yea I guess that was prior to a lot of the garment industry standards...they used to be able to claim anything they wanted and it really pissed everybody off....thanks!!!
