Chinese Miner named An Hoo in British Columbia in 1913.

The Canadian PM in the 1880s claimed that the Canadian rail system would be impossible to build without Chinese labor. Shortly after the railroads were completed, they banned Chinese immigration entirely. That law was on the books until 1947.
