Well, sheltering in place has meant I have lots of time to do repairs. I found a '68-'71 Type III recently that needed some tender loving care and it's actually been a fun and rewarding project during this time of uncertainty. Also, it's nice to see improvement after sucking for so long.

Mending has been one of the only things I've found to do with my time, so these 601xx 1947s from Freewheelers have gotten a good amount of attention recently.

Nice job on the repairs, and the jeans are looking really good too.

I like how the wabash pattern patch matches the stitches! Also, I really like the dual squares on the left leg. Well done!

nicely done, cannon. Those repairs have just the right amount of soul and organic structure. I don’t always like boro (especially when it’s very symmetrical it can seem a little crude) but those hit the sweet spot.

I patched up these LVCJ 1944s a bit ago- I bought them worn in to this level- I wanted to conserve them and wasn't going for serious durability. The whiskers are super fragile. ![]() ![]() I've only worn these for light duty (mixing drinks or whatnot). Bonus pic: ![]() |

Thanks ya'll, it's been realy therapeutic to do these, something to get outside my head. Mr. Randal I like how big the coverage area is, you should start in on the 551ZXX now.

Mark, those might be the best looking example of a 44 I’ve seen. That denim is stunning. Are those cone or LVCJ?
