I stopped into AB-Fits in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood last week, and the Masterson's shirts had rolled in, and begun rolling out. I believe all of the 38s and 40s were spoken for, or nearly all.

AB Fits employee George was kind enough to model the MHQMG 'Healing Agent' for me in the alley across the way:

Mark -- this chambray looks a little darker than the Roy , or is it the same?

The Desert Sky chambray for LS2 is significantly darker than the Roy's Nihon Menpu. The Desert Sky fabric has a rougher hand as well.

Beautiful shirt. I'd love one of these at some point in time.

Bob, I think it's also going to be a bit darker with a soak. Mine hit water in a few spots, and those spots are at least a shade darker now.

My LS1 with the same fabric shrunk significantly with the initial soak. I know the fabric is sanforized but it shrunk. A ton of the indigo lost too. The bucket of water was deep blue and my finger tips were blue from the initial soak and agitation. The shirt stays dark though.

I've just received my LS-2 shirt from Trove General.

It really is a very beautifully made shirt.
The detailing and subtle refinements are something else, and the fabric itself is amazing.

Quite dark compared to the Roy Chambray almost charcoal, I was worried they'd be too similar but this isn't the case.
It even has a few chalk mark from the pockets being placed. Just add to the feel if it being made with care.

I can't say enough about it.

Will post pictures when I have my camera to hand.

Thanks to you Denimbros for bringing Masterson to my attention.
Cheers.
