Posted in another thread here, but... Saw theses shirts today at Trove. Impressive details throughout. Forgot to add, they had the LS1 and LS2. Bummed they didn't have any in "bigger" sizes.

Description of the special Masterson's denimbruin shirt from Michael:

"The process in making the denim bruin shirt was definitely an interesting one. I had decided to attempt to shed myself of specific quarks internally and take on specific ideas that have thus far kept me from learning. In hindsight that is.

Here are a few of the initial goals.

I wanted to work with some one else. In specific. someone that understood movement and material. but also someone that would take on the task of doing the somewhat slow prep work. this work is also the most important work for finishing the goods accurately. This was a very difficult thing to release. To me, the least amount of sewing experience was necessary.

to produce a limited run of 16 pcs. in 5 days.

Complete new pattern from scratch, including hand grading.

Change hem allowances and finishing stitches.

To use as few machines as possible without doing thread changes.

To utilize materials that say something different in the context in which they are used.

To have traditional elements in a handmade shirt that are not common for todays or yesterdays work shirt.

To not expose selvage.

The result was fantastic. The denim bruin 2013 is a project I fell in love with and learned far more than I could have imagined.

What was the retail on that denimbruin shirt? It's a shame he didn't make it for general release....I don't think I've ever seen a denim shirt that I've liked more.
