Levis' does, in fact, make things that are not simulacra of their own simulacra.

Starting this thread exclusively because I just discovered that the Levi's x Filson Oil Finish Tin Cloth Trucker is now offered in black, which is awesome. I don't wear a lot of black -- what with our vintage Earth-tone cos-play obsessions, none of us do... except for docblue 'cause he's in motorcycle bad-ass cos-play mode -- but I love my tan jacket and am intrigued by this sucker!

Also $216, and only looks to be on Filson's site, not Levi's. I'll be keeping an eye out!

Saw this made and crafted piece.  I tend not to be crazy about vests, but this is really cool looking.

I also really like the 38$ Khaki STF jobbies at Jacques Penney as well.

I'm VERY interested in the Fair Ends x Levi caps discussed here:

anyone seen these in the flesh? Is the SF "Made Here" store the one adjacent to the corporate HQ?

I thought the "Made Here' stuff came from the tailor shop at the Union Square store but I could be wrong. I guess give 'em a call.
