That’s the one, a catalog from that time period would have listed
The lot numbers, but I guess the price lists don’t.

Thanks so much!
One of the things to be added to the 2nd edition will probably be related to the birth of type 1 jackets.
Would love to include that 1887 blouse in my book too, can I? (Of course I'd love to have more pics, esp the buttons and the selvedge line inside the jacket, haha)

Your more than welcome to use the photos that are already released, we have been working on/off on a Levi book for 10
Years, I would like to save what detailed photos I have for our book- but for sure it should be represented in yours- cuz I think it’s as close as we’re going to get, to the birth of that style of jacket....Birth meaning Levi making that style of jacket- most of its competitors were making a double pleated 1 pocket blouse way before Levi.

Thanks so much!Clap
Looking forward to your Levi book. SmileTongue

Some factory info from a fact sheet 1971

And a factory map from 1972 (not 100% certain)

Very very very interesting finds!!!!Clap
Just some interesting observation:
Only saw denim jackets are made in Fayetteville.
Can't see the Denison, Texas plant (probably covered by Wichita Falls?) but a denim jacket logo and a "flash" sign pointing from similar region.
From 1971 there are mainly 2 plants making denim jackets, 524 (major) and 526 (minor), based on button numbers.
Making a bold guess:
"524" is the Denison, Texas plant.
"526" is the Fayetteville, Arkansas plant.

Buler- can you please track down a full Levi catalog from the 1800’s in some online library, they do exist,
But they seem to be so F-ing rare, the only one known to exist is owned by someone that will never show it- ever

Keep it up- the only thing I’ve been able to confirm according to the owner of one-lot numbers were started before 1890
Makes sense- the competition had them.
