Will get detail shots posted up hopefully tomorrow when I have some good lighting after work. Unfortunately, this one is too small for me so I’m selling it. I do however have a blanket lined Type 1 LVC coming my way from a friend that is my size, so I’m happy about that.

Alright, here are some detail shots of the inside of the jacket. Just for fun, I turned the sleeve inside out to look at the construction, as I’ve never seen anyone else post them online
. As you can see, inside the sleeve, pattern matching was not a priority and probably not possible anyway with the shape of the sleeve.
Detail shot of all the lovely colors present in the lining and cool to see the raised letters on the single cuff rivets.

The stitching on the knife pleats and throughout most of the jacket is also orange and not lemon yellow except for the single stitching around the bottom hem of the jacket. That is lemon yellow, which is interesting too. I thought the last type 2 I had was yellow stitching throughout but it was also not a blanket lined one.

Thanks for the time and effort to post these photos Dirt.
I love the colour combos of the Troy Mills blanket linings for old Levis jackets, each model having a specific type.
And that re-used wool mix has never, in my experience at least been replicated, as the mill closed down in around 2002.
You'll see what l mean when you get hold of that Lvc type one you mentioned.

Thanks again and please post any more worthy finds here!

Doc.

As promised, some pictures...I want to say late 50's/early 60's 501ZXX, the kicker for me is the #15 hidden rivet. I've seen #18 hidden rivets in that circular font dated to 50's; not sure if that makes these 50's though? IMO, the fabric as well seems more late 50's to me than 60's...Forgive the iPhone shots:

This was the post I was referring to , my apologies
