Has anyone got experience with the Wested Indy jackets?

Sounds pretty good:

made in UK

veg tanned leather (not sure if all leathers)

for 180GBP a reasonable price

Of course this is not for the people who want a historically correct item or a very thick, heavy leather (apparently the leather is rather light weight).

But I've seen some pics and they seem to age pretty nicely.

Has anyone bought from spearhead militaria before? While not leather, I'm quite taken with their wool A1's. Even more taken with the price.

It looks very nice.

It'd be good to know what fabric outer and lining are.

And the price is like 10% of the very nice Esemplare Brayden Jacket:

It says the outer is wool but doesn't specify if that's 100%. I'll drp them a message.

I don't know what your size is but at Esemplare they have the jacket for around 300 EUR on sale.

Most sizes are gone but in dark green they have still L and XL. The jacket fits quite small:

1st time posting in this forum- sorry for bumping this from a few pages back, but wanted to say that Deluxestying's work with Mark on this aviator d-pocket is soo damn perfect that Mark is in the process of making me the same jacket, but with a ball chain puller on the d-pocket and in US tanned chrome HH (a new tannery he and JC recently "discovered"). This is everything I've been looking for in a civvy jacket. As close to a perfect pattern as they come IMO. Tho I always say that until I take receipt of the jacket, then am immediately lusting for my next one (e.g. Himel's button Heron in seal hh or goat, which if anyone is selling in a 42, hit me up Wink)

Good looking out, Deluxestyling!

Cheers,
Bret
