That's a hard question to answer. By using the word aesthetic you confuse me, reason being "hippies" and "workwear" aren't aesthetics.

The collections are inspired by a whole plethora of ideas. The lookbooks dictate a certain theme but the individual items speak for themselves. I guess if you come from a #menswear perspective you might find some themes but it's a fashion brand that doesn't have one consistent direction. It's an unconstrained brand in that it doesn't fit into any one category. Which is why you don't get it and a lot of people love it.

Thank you, I figured they were from some past season.

Bohemian may be a better word choice than hippie. Unconstrained, even better yet.

I felt like I was entering an alter universe the first time I visited the Kapital store in Ebisu, so I can't say that I really "get" Kapital. But I think "pan-" offers a good key to unraveling what holds the label together.

Be the theme pan-asian, pan-tribal, pan-farmer or pan-whatever, Kapital is, IMO, about tying geographically discrete but familial threads together across borders. Garments w/o Borders.

I like big coats and I can not lie...  been meaning to post some pics of my ring coats...

A newer twill one I picked up this season. The twill gives it a more military feel. In size 2

An older katsuragi moleskin one I've had for a while. This one has actual rings instead of buttons. I wear this is a size 1 even though it's technically a women's size. The fabric gives it a dressier (pea-coat-ier?) look than the twill and the slimmer cut helps with that as well. I do prefer this one more even though the fabric seems to be more of a fur/lint attractor.

for reference, I'm 69 cm tall and weigh 71 Kg

Does anyone know if Kapital does restocks? Missed this particular drop some weeks ago, and it's already sold out on the webstore. Googling the product number does not indicate any retailers stocking this item.

It sold out at every store in two weeks. There may be a re-stock.

interesting POV there when i read it the other minute after having browsed again and again through past KAPITAL-lookbooks in search of a specific coat/item...
although the style is not "me", it feels like a trip through kind of a modern mad max-movie every time again and putting them into a certain corner definately doesn't do them justice at all.
i deeply appreciate their approach and aesthetics being off all beaten tracks! agreeing somehow with the term "bohemian", i would simply say they're doing their very own thing across styles/decades, what is worth gold nowadays Clap

so now please send me coat i'm after for free, alright?
Big smile

A good simple look like yours allows for pieces like this to fit in without sticking out. Well selected and well worn!
