I’m going to struggle with the back pocket, I tend to keep my wallet in my left pocket since I’m left handed.

There was a darn good reason for adding another back pocket, it’s been at least 2 years since I wore a
One back pocket pant, I’m still trying to put my phone in a pocket that doesn’t exist.

Some comparison shots of the genuine Jk article next to the bootleg tour pant-
The real Jk repro pair was made in 2013, a year after they bstarted sewing...I don't
remember when the bootleg pair came about-I think 2016?

Stitch per inch seems to be considerably more on the bootleg pair and I seem to remember
JK using linnen thread on their repro pair IIRC.

What looks to be leather backed rivets, what you see on late 1870's and early 1880's Levi's
jk4 by bottleswest, on Flickr

This fabric looks like the Levi cone fabric that was made sometime around 2007-9
cone made so much of this fabric back then, just about everyone got ahold of some.
The fabric was floating around until 2013- then long gone. This fabric was made during the Ralph Tharpe days at cone, Ralph had no idea at the time...Why Levi insisted on adding the black ID line
a few years later- this would be known as sail cloth, the further the line was away from the edge of the fabric- the heavier the weight.

Resting measurement, I can stretch it ti 18
I can add a hollows pair of suspenders to the tour,
you can go logger style with the button undone if extra room
is needed.

2016 sounds about right for when these popped up.
Here's some old imposter images I pulled a few years ago.

Heddels has an Interview with John right when these appeared, I never got a chance to read it- but I was
Told John was baffled in the interview about the imposter JK company, maybe we can find the interview.

Don't see anything on Heddles unfortunately, I'd like to read that interview!
I'll keep scouring the wayback machine, the whole imposter series is a trip.

Nick hollows has a t shirt from this collection- from LeRoy X JK &Co
I believe it’s something riding a chicken, I’m sure it’s buried deep in the Waywt thread.

Working back in the neighborhood for the next few weeks, this property backs up to Santiago oaks
where peacocks roam free.

Safe to wear the tour pants while finishing the drywall part of the job.

Took a long lunch- so I could stock some clothing in the booth before the weekend.

My booths are down at what most people know as the Orange circle, the place has drastically
changed over the last 20 years. Chapman college turned into Chapman university and now the
place has a college vibe, the circle used to be filled with mom and pop antique stores, with zero night life...Most of the stores are now restaurants and the place is teaming with peeps- day and night

some old pics of the circle

Up until the mid 1990's- this ceiling was covered by a shitty T-bar ceiling, someone came to there senses and exposed the ceiling again.

Picked up a pizza and went back to work.
