Hey Deninseeker, welcome and great project!

I have a type from what I can ascertain to be between '68-'73 with a big 'E', smaller label, navy thread under the pocket, and what I think is 524 stamped on the button backs (it's almost too worn down to tell). Interesting enough is it has a bigger buttonhole on the cuffs with chainstich that strikes through the middle to create two separate holes for adjustable tightness. Not sure if this was done post-production, but you can see pics on page 122 of the Levi Strauss 1873-1973 thread.

Nice. Is there a map pocket inside or what are those rivets for?
Too much Denim - too little time...

Those are inside buttons, they button the internal flap of material.....It’s what I’m guessing bluetrain was referring to- as a gas flap?

Thanks for your appreciation!
I believe the feature is customized by the owner. =)

Mine is also denim, but doesn't have much visible wear. Not from lack of love for the design, just an excess of jackets.

Yours is looking great and makes me want to put more miles on my own. It's a piece that I will never ever sell, in spite of the lack of wear thusfar.

I make things out of leather.

I’ve had a certain individual try and buy mine, more than one time-
I too, feel like I will never sell it....The same here, I haven’t worn it, in over a year.
My arm fades I think- has mainly been from shoveling horse dooooo.

Seeing galaxy wash in person for the first time, I like it!
Certainly it won't be everyone's cup of coffee.
