White Feather was wiped out, so here is my 1875 Krouse double pleat denim jacket, made by White Feather- does anyone know if they're still in business? This was made for 2015 or 2016 Denimbruin ( I don't remember?) I wore this for 2 winter seasons here in So Cal, probably wore it everyday total of maybe 6 months. This was made in duck and denim- IIRC Hollows has the duck version. |

My iphone was run over about a year ago, so this is the best picture i could find of a jacket we found back in 2017...Early 1880's, pack rat chew in the worst possible place. Thrifted deadstock Key |

Fingers crossed for something in my size- preferably a 1880’s triple pleat Levi jacket, I’ll take a Boss of the road, We found one of those in 2017....again it was too small and fragile. |

In years past, I tried to keep everything, maybe sell 1 piece a year when work slowed. In 2017- 5 days after the last Denimbruin, my father went into a tail spin, I was missing a lot of work having to take care of him on and off, for the last 8 months of his life....At the same time- we needed to buy 4 new/used cars, living in So Cal means I can put between 25,000-40,000 miles a year on a car...Long story kind of short- I had to sell off most of my collection- better news, I’m in a Position now to keep almost everything I find Just Incase another denimbruin comes along, but I’m not holding my breath on that one. |
