I'm glad to hear that. Most people don't get engineers right in my opinion so hopefully that extra time and effort helps.

For engineers I personally would reference the shape of brands like Role Club, Clinch, and John Lofgren among others.  The unstructured toe and thickness of the mid and outsole are some of the most important aspects to me.
