I must say, it's been a long time since I've seen an Englishman look so good in socks and sandals.

Question:  What's a pacer?

Ah.  A minty sweet.

I'm a bit of a Tavener's sour lemon drop girl, myself, so that explains my thinking a pacer was a small, stripey child  the greyhounds would chase after at the racetrack when the rabbit machine was on the fritz.

Have to hand it to you Brits, nobody else does sweets with quite the same artistry, conviction, or range.

Mind you, I have also always had a thing for sailors and chocolate...

This is from the early 90's at a rockabilly weekender with a girl I managed to manhandle for the weekend. Still got the engineer boots (Georgia) but they're in a pretty rough state. The jeans (she was also wearing a pair of mine) are in the loft somewhere.

Possibly the same weekender. Me and another chick. Cross dressing was so much more innocent in those days.

^

I can assure you that my weekend will not have the same heaping measure of fifties fun and frilly frivolity that has been captured on this page.

Then again, I can take comfort in knowing that I will not be executing any sudden leg manoeuvres that could lead to premature crotch blow-out.

Right.  I think I'm going to leave it at that...

Seems a shame to rule that out.

Since a friend gave me these pants, I'm pretty sure this outfit was under $10.
