Good on Percy.

This morning I overheard an old chap in Tesco telling the cashier he was 99. He looked so sprightly.

Ooh the changes they must have witnessed...

Indeed, he's lived in that house since 1954

His son is over from Australia for the month, i'd never met him before last week, i would put him in his mid 50,s yet he was born in 1940... good genes!

To redress karma and in stark contrast to James Dyson, Julian Richer puts Richer Sounds into employee ownership

That's how business should work.. What a guy!
I'll endorse anything for cash

I’ve bought loads of stuff from Richer Sounds over the years (including my first amp, turntable and speakers from the tiny London Bridge shop when I was 16) and can’t recommend them highly enough. I heard about this the other day and took off my imaginary hat (a bowler of course, just like Mr Benn) to him.

00 of course, will doff his flat cap instead, whilst his whippet is trying to attack the ferret running around the inside of his new Sugar Canes. I just hope he cleaned the racing pigeon shit off it!

I got my first stereo from that branch too, at a similar age. Pioneer separates. Black & gold they were.

I had a similar accident to your Missis a few months ago. Being bald, it was a bit difficult to hide the (small) egg sized lump that appeared on top of my head. Youd have thought with all this technology around us that someone would invent self-cleaning stairs.

I bought Pioneer speakers but the amp and turntable were Akai - I wonder what happened to them? A year or so later I bought an Akai tape deck with Dolby C noise reduction no less!
