I've failed miserably. I console myself with the fact that i've sold quite a few bits and in some cases, purposely bought stuff with a view of selling at profit to cover costs of what i'm buying. So far it seems to be working.

At least you’re a talented, professional metalworker, so if you break the cycle you can fix it yourself. If I break a cycle I’ll have to buy another one and compound the problem!

I caved in today, bought a watch cap. Something I really didn't need.
