Mrs Soul must be very understanding

Lovely denim but how come it has a two piece sleeve? Maybe a jacket made in late 1946?

Not as much as I had planned. Started wearing it more properly earlier this year, alternating with my TCB 30's jacket. Tough rotating denim jackets, nothing really happens.

Almost time for a wash now though. Will shoot some more pics then.

I have sewn arcs to my SC 1947. They are not perfect but that's enough for me.
Of course it's all manual. It took me about 4 hours and I don't think I'll do it again, but I like my Sugar Canes more now.

They look great. Did you use a template or simply chalk the design on first and then follow the lines?

I don't swim. I can swim. I just don't have much cause to do so in the normal run of things.

I used a template based on the arches of a 1947 LVC.  I made it with a stitcher and a lot of patience, and then I removed the paper.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
