That's such a cool couple of shots, Mr. Q, and I love the black-n-white theme.
Where are all the wheeled vehicles? Was there some kind of pedestrian coup that I missed? |

Thanks, Mr.Q. Like Shredwin said, the Memorial Roys. Once dipped in the ocean. P.S. Nice fades on those RS, Ooms.

thank u, csl. the denim mike hodis used on this blacksmith is a good testament of the subtle beauty of cone denim. what i like most about it is how it doesn't fade too quickly into white. it goes thru various shades of blue first before finally getting to that stage. i'm sure you're pretty familiar with that already, though. on this particular denim (12 oz?), there are even warehouse-like crinckles on some spots. i did not expect that to happen in the first two years of wearing these pants, during which the fabric probably deserved to be called "boring" (although i still loved the fresh shade of blue and the crispiness of the denim after each wash).

Yes. True, Ooms. It's a vintage fade rather than the high contrast we tend to see with some Japanese denim.
