Would anybody here like some Peruvian black beauty^ stick insect eggs?
They make a lovely first pet or 'life-cycle' classroom project, easy to care for, eat privet/bramble, like to be handled and are quite active (for stickies) Give me a holla and i'll post you 10 eggs out f.o.c. They are due to hatch after Christmas, UK only im afraid. |

No extra face im afraid but they do have personality thats for sure. This species was only discovered relatively recently by some dude searching for amphibians. They only live in northern Peru at altitude on a 12 acre site, they can fire acid from behind the head (no stronger than lemon juice) to deter predators but ive never seen ours do it (much to my kids disappointment) they quite like being handled.
Only downside is they breed like |

Deaner,
I know everybody loves a fat-pawed pup but, for me, it's the senior dog who pulls on the heart strings. I'm glad to see how present Pie looks. Young Bug is apparently totally down for either option. Edited by HP Sauce - 22 Jul 2018 at 6:51am |
