I bought these jeans made in Japan some time ago on eBay and I'd like to know which brand or brands made them and what period of time are trying to imitate.
They are very good and nice jeans but I don't think they are true to the originals, for example both have chain stitch in the waist on the lower seam or the inner seam of the legs is much more complex than all of the vintage Lees I've ever seen.

These are the first:

And the second one:

Regards.

^Going by the waistband tags and leather patches, the first pair is a late 1940's-early 1950's repro, whereas the second pair is an early 1960's model.

I know it does not strictly belong here, but does anyone know how much the the last years Lee 101z 19oz jeans will shrink? The tag reads only not to wash them. ;) I assume, 3%, but maybe more?
Many thanks

It's a fair assumption, 3% for sanforized is usually about right.

Thanks Eldani, do you have these? I just wonder for I have an early 52 repro that shrunk around 5-10%, and my 66 didnĀ“t shrink at all...

NOS denim Lee cap found yesterday at a used clothing store.  Denim is maybe a little darker than in the photos.

Thanks, Denimetc! There were two, though only one sill had the price tag. I bought one and a friend bought the other. Both in the 7-1/2 size.
