The first time I came across this rinsed wash was in 2005 with a 1966 501 called "My Generation" when purchased new the jean had a strong stench, a brown tint and had scented tumble dyer pads in the pockets to hide the smell,
The wash later became rough rinse around 2010ish.

What I always wondered was: Is it the denim itself that is washed and treated or the constructed jean?

Early finished lvc jeans were always very undersized as later finished jeans more true to size.

I've seen a few samples that had brown or orange tints applied, the outside looked, em, okay but the inside was a horrible color, not suited for turn-ups.

Chemical or perfume scents on washed jean- not okay.

Thanks, going to search for a Made in USA one.

...and found one from Maple Store in Australia

These W34 L34 measure rigid
W 44 cm -17.3 Inches
FR 31,5 cm - 12.4 Inches
K 24,5 cm - 9,7 Inches
L 21,5 cm - 8.5 Inches
I 85,5 cm - 33.7 Inches

I am giving them a warm soak next and hoping that I will get 1-1,5 inches off the waist and length.

I haven't noticed the little dots in the buttons before?
Factory code 4420 stamped in the top button.
When did the V-stich end?

After one hour warm soak
Waist 42,5 cm - 16.7 Inches
FR 30 cm - 11.8 Inches
K 24 cm - 9.4 Inches
L 21 cm - 8.3 Inches
Inseam 81 cm - 31.9 Inches

Also never quite realized how big and square back pockets are in 76's. Here compared to 47's. Sure, the 47 is W32 but still.

On Levis.com Europe and USA there is a new Model Pic on the 1955 501. It shows a Trucker suede Jacket like the current brown one, but this time in Purple. I guess this is the first Item of the new WS Season 2020 with the 80's Punk Rock Theme. Given the fact that this guy is also wearing Rockabilly Creep Shoes, which was common in the 80's ...

Bandit's Vintage Jorts thread made me remember this offering from LVC- I believe it came in a reproed gas can with rope belt, which as the story goes is how the Levi's archive received the original this is based off of.

In case anyone is interested, Levi's.com has slashed the price of the chocolate type 3 trucker in suede. Much as I really don't need a new jacket I picked it up at this much more reasonable price.

They do this every time the Season goes to end. I was tempted too, but resist cause I already bought the Einstein Menlo. Levi’s US has listed the first Item of the FW 20 Season, an 80’s Sweatshirt In Red/Yellow. The whole 80’s Theme doesn’t interest me. Hoping that in the near future something 30’s-50’s ...
