major excitement around these parts- just walked out the front door- our free range yard bunny
picked herself a bouquet of flowers- pictures of it going into the grinder.

Coming along nicely.
We couldn't do anything like that here without a chicken wire cover from all points of attack, even underneath. Been meaning for years to build something like that for my wife.

Is it a deer problem Carl? Having a garden and fruit trees is one of those simple pleasures in life....I’m excited to be able
To pick a few bowls of cherries off our trees this year.

Mike,

No. It's ground squirrels & rabbits. They eat everything except for the gnarliest cacti.

Rats get through chicken wire, 4 years ago, when California banned a certain type of poison- rats were so out of control at our place- rats found our corn, within 2 hours, our entire crop was gone.

A few months ago I drove by a small local park and there was a robot lawnmower cutting the grass- it was about the size of a regular electric mower sans handle and shaped like a tiny Volkswagen bug. There was no one next to it, but I’m guessing someone was watching it from nearby. I had a fantasy of being in a Freeside park courtesy of William Gibson.
Has anyone else seen this bit of the future?
