Let’s add it to the list

Show us your hand trimmed edges.
Or

The edges WE hand trim?
Either one will work.
The chemicals we use to trim our edges.

Show us your chemical trimmed edges.
Same

I do most of our mowing with a tractor. Just got this battery powered wacker by Shindaiwa for the fine grooming. Not bad...

That’s what you call a no nonsense weed eater, looks a lot like cattle country CSL?
I can hardly manage just under a quarter acre, I can’t imagine 60 times that amount.
Nice wide open spaces, California has a lot to offer.

Yeah, it's a lot of time on the tractor, Sansome. Luckily I like being on the tractor.
There are some cattle ranches around here. Also oil fields & general agriculture. A lot of grape vines gone in recently. Sucking up all our water...

Lawn, gardens, foraged food, top soil, vintage family photos- what more could you want, all
in one place.

my father-in-law Russ- 1972

My Italian side of the family, I'll ask my aunt about the age of the photo, My grandmother had 12 brothers and sisters- 9 made it to adulthood, and had kids of their own. I believe Carlo is far left?
He was killed in Italy during WW2.

Thanks- my aunt has a bunch of old family photos- plus my grandmother took so many pictures, it really was a picture taking generation. Before the lockdown, I went down to San Diego for my great aunts funeral, been meaning to post the pictures of the old Catholic Church, where it
Was held. My grandmothers parents settled in downtown San Diego- this church I’m talking about was used for the families weddings and funerals.

When I get around to it- my aunt also has a civil war sword/ discharge papers and frock coat- from my grandfathers side of the family.....and somewhere, I have his letters from the war, I just have to find them.
